Dawn has not bothered searching a man worthy of being a husband, until the day someone tries to win her heart in the most mysterious way . . .

When mysterious gift appears outside the kitchen door at Broch Invershin at the start of Yuletide, Dawn Fraser cannot pass it by without investigating. It is then followed by a string of gifts, all for Dawn, and gifted by someone who knows all her preferences.

The giver must be someone who knows her well. Could it be the rakish and handsome Drummond? They had been sharing glances and secret kisses. Might he be Dawn’s admirer?

Yet Drummond seems oblivious to any gifts that have set the kitchen maids into a tizzy. And Dawn is mystified as to who her benefactor might be, until a mind-spinning Hogmanay celebration where a masked man shares a dance, and a passionate kiss, with her.

A man who is definitely not Drummond!

When she does learn her admirer’s identity, she also learns the depth of his love and desire.

Will Dawn be able to open her heart to this mystery man? Or will Drummond stand in their way?

Couldn’t Put It Down - Rivals the Outlander series.

This is one of the best historical romance/ adventure novels I have read since I began reading the Outlander series. Yes, it’s that good. How refreshing to find a novel that immediately pulls you in with a fabulous plot. The descriptions are perfect - not too much and not too little. Dialogue is realistic and easy to follow. I was invested in the characters by the end of chapter one.

Truly well done. Don’t miss it!

Wow can this author write! She paints anguish with such a strong brush that it will rip your heart out. If I wasn’t promised a happy ending, I’m not sure I could have kept reading.

An Intriguing Romance!!

This romance novel is one that kept my interest all the way through. Taking place way back in the day in Scotland, the author gives a beautiful visual of the landscape as to where this is all taking place. The characters are relatable, some forceful and very engaging. It is one of the, Can love conquer all even with all the conditions and circumstances in their lives? And there are many to overcome for sure. Great novel to curl up to and enjoy.
