If you like political intrigue and characters that are smart and endearing, then this story has it all in spades! RG Roberts weaves a masterful tapestry as she weaves in and out of the lives of about 4 main characters. I tend to prefer stories that limit POVs, but the way Roberts handles each character...never lingering too long on one or short changing another...means I was never overwhelmed by the POV shifts. There are no endless side plots here that have no real bearing on the story. There is a lot to take in at the beginning but stick with it and it will all come together as you go along. Thank you Roberts for sharing your masterpiece with us and I look forward to reading more! Who is Shade?! Can't wait for the reveal!
