Sensational Time Travel yarn
I purchased this book on a whim. The description of Jack Reacher meets The Patriot in this exhilarating time travel alternate history series, while reasonably accurate, falls far short of the hard charging pace of Second Chance. When you enter this tale, be sure your seat belt is fastened. This is a lightning strike into the heart of the early American Revolution.

This is a good book if you like 'what if' military time travel
This is another modern man goes back to change history. What is different is the hero is not a super special forces type so common in other stories, he was a cop. He is not a pushover wimp neither. He does somethings right, sometimes wrong. It's a good read, on to the next book.

Great Alternative History
I began liking alternative history novels every since I read "Guns of the South" by Harry Turtledove. Since then, I find it hard to count how many different alternative history and time travel I've gone through. Some good and some not so much.
What I really look for in an alternative history book is how well the author incorporates the historical characters into the story. Michael Roberts has done an excellent job with the plot, main character and the story line. This is an outstanding story with plenty of action..
