Praise For The Series
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Entertaining mystery listening 🎶🔰 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Another well written British 🏰 murder mystery family relationships adventure thriller short story by Craig Stephen Copland(New Sherlock Holmes Mysteries book 1).
An American lady 🚺 from Georgia comes to London searching for her husband and hires Sherlock after three men are killed. Sherlock and Watson find the husband then race to prevent the assassination of the Prince the future King 👑 of England. All ends will.
I would recommend this series and author to readers of mysteries and Sherlock Holmes fans. Enjoy the adventure of reading or listening. Gone with the Wind is not part of this novel other than names. 2022 👑👒😕

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Utterly charming -- and quite exciting⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I believe this is the third book I have read in this series of new Sherlock Holmes adventures. Obviously I'm not a stickler for chronology. I enjoyed the other books very much, but this one was just so completely charming and unexpected. Really, I would never have thought of doing a mash-up of Sherlock Holmes and Gone With the Wind.
If the idea sounds silly to you, you should put your fears to rest. The author does a remarkable job of making it all seem plausible if not probable. But honestly, this isn't a history book. It is an adventure story with strong elements of mystery set in the familiar environs of 221B Baker Street..

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Great Holmes story with real info on WW1.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I always enjoy Craig Copland's take on the Holmes canon. This is set right at the beginning of WW1. I learned a lot about Mata Hari and even did some research on her. I love when a book gets me to do further research.

THE VILLAGE OF REVENGE
A NEW SHERLOCK HOLMES MYSTERY #47
“With regret, my dear Inspector,” said Sherlock Holmes, “I shall decline your invitation to assist in this case.”
“Why?” demanded Inspector Lestrade.
“A cottage catching fire and burning to the ground and causing the death of a young mother may be a terrible tragedy. Such events, sad though they are, have no connection with ingenious or singularly inexplicable crime. I reserve such unique talents as those with which Providence has blessed me to attend to solving events that are irrefutably criminal.”
From his seat on the far side of the breakfast table in 221B Baker Street, Inspector Lestrade glared at Holmes and then smirked. He reached into his suitcoat pocket, extracted his wallet and drew out a five pound note. With a hint of a flourish, he laid it on the table and slid it into the middle of the table.
“Fine then, Holmes. Are you feeling man enough for a small wager? Five pounds says that after sparing only a morning of your precious reserved time and coming with me to Sevenoaks, you will agree to take on the case. Better still, you will beseech me to allow you to participate.”
Holmes and I paid a visit to the site of the fire.
Sherlock Holmes lost the bet.
Reader: Should you wish to know what took place both here in England and in New York City several years before, you will have to purchase my account of it. Might I suggest that place your order today. Sincerely - Dr. John. H. Watson.

THE ADVENTURE OF MATA HARI'S HAREM
A NEW SHERLOCK HOLMES MYSTERY #48
“The German ambassador, madam,” said Sherlock Holmes, “is reputed to be brilliant and very difficult.”
“My dear, Mr. Holmes,” she said. “He is a man. Like all men when they are drunk and in the throes of ecstasy, he will be easy.”
“I must warn you, he has a reputation amongst men who have encountered him of being dangerous.”
“And a reputation amongst women of falling asleep immediately after, if you know what I mean.”
Sherlock Holmes blushed ever so slightly. “Very well then, I shall expect your return with the document in forty-eight hours.”
He slid a small stack of gold coins over to her. Without inspecting them, she placed them in her purse.
“Oh, you do know how to make a lady happy, don’t you.”
She stood up from her chair in the bar at the Ritz Hotel in Paris. “I do believe I shall enjoy working with you, Mr. Holmes.”
Without warning, she bent down and planted a kiss on the cheek of Sherlock Holmes and then stood back up and gave him an odd look.
“Mon dieu, why is I feel nothing from you? Were you neutered as a schoolboy?”
“Madam, a man must choose between being susceptible to the wiles of a woman, or being a good detective. He cannot have both. Allow me to wish you Godspeed.”
The woman known to the world as Mata Hari, turned and glided her way out of the bar. The eyes of every man in the room followed her.
This story is a tribute to His Last Bow. Once again, at the outbreak of the Great war, Sherlock homes must engage in dangerous espionage. He will be assisted by the most glamorous and tragic of spies, Mata Hari.
