This was a great follow-up to Firewall Hearts that also works as a standalone read. It's another great page-turner from Peyton Lux, with moments of tension right up until the end. You really get to know the characters and understand their motivations as an integral part of the (sometimes steamy!) romance, which makes it an enjoyable read from start to finish.

Worth it!
Slow Burn lets two guarded people circle each other, misread each other, and slowly recognize that what they are feeling is not a passing spark.
Ryan is especially memorable because he is allowed to be competent and uncertain at the same time. Sofia, on the other hand, reads people with an ease he lacks, but she is not presented as emotionally effortless.
Finally, the pacing certainly lives up to the title of the book. An absolutely blissful read!
