This book is the start of a new series, so can be read without having read previous books, but characters from other books make an appearance and are mentioned so having read those adds a little more depth to the story.

Oh, this book is a rollercoaster of emotions. Buckle up and get ready for an unforgettable ride! I'm not a fan of second chances, in books and in real life, but Marco's and Marissa's story made me reconsider... It's action packed in the best kind of way. It kept me turning the pages like crazy! Oh, the secrets buried but ready to surface and destroy or put things where they belonged all along.
