I LOVE THIS SERIES and its latest installment! Dodger has been such a lovable character in the last few books in this series that I was more than thrilled that Zoe Dawson rewarded him (and us) with his very own book!!!! Stellar character development for both Dodger and Anna. The sexual tension and hilarious banter between these two were masterfully scripted.

First let me just say that this whole series is amazing and worth the read! TANK was a terrific addition to the series. If you love MWDs, the Navy Seals, and a passionate love story all wrapped up in one, you’ll devour this book. Great characters, heart-stopping missions, and a slew of emotions comprise this book. Very well written Zoe Dawson. Can’t wait to delve into BLUE’s story.

The writing is very descriptive and detailed, allowing the reader to visualize the settings and the characters. The characters are multifaceted personalities that interact in both dangerous and romantic situations. The action scenes are very fast paced and well written, giving an impression of what it is like to be a Navy Seal in a hostile environment doing whatever is necessary to survive and complete the mission they have been assigned.
Dawson manages to write in a way that gives a little adrenaline rush during these action packed scenes. She also captures the romantic and sensual feelings between the characters, from sweet and tender to wild and uncontrolled lust. This was definitely a great read, and i will continue with the next book in the series.

Errol "Pitbull" Ballentine is tasked to work with an NCIS agent who is on the trail of one of their own missing agents. He and the team meet up with NCIS and Pitbull discovers it's special agent Makayla Littlestar who looks like a delicate flower. He soon discovers that her looks are the only soft thing about this driven woman.
She is a martial arts expert, an amazing tracker, speaks several languages and has a chip on her shoulder as big as Texas. And all he wants to do is knock it off and get under her formidable armor to the engaging, soft woman beneath. He’s determined to find out what makes her tick.
When Mak is in tracking mode, she often sees nothing but the subject she’s following, but Pitbull is big, tough, and intrudes on her concentration. She can’t get sidetracked by a big, macho SEAL and she will never love like that again, so what’s the point of ever getting involved?
But after spending time with him, she discovers that he’s as determined as his name implies and she could very well lose her edge with him, which makes it all the more vital to keep her eyes on the ball and not on gorgeous Pitbull.
